ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Kelly. A Counsellor and Psychotherapist based in Hertford.

I’m a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). My counselling approach is built on empathy, respect, and a deep commitment to your autonomy.

In our sessions, you'll find a nurturing and non-judgmental environment, where your feelings and experiences are genuinely valued. My aim is to build a supportive and trusting relationship with you, giving you the freedom to explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace.

Whether you’re navigating specific challenges or seeking deeper self-understanding, I’m here to accompany you on your journey. Together, we can work towards greater clarity and understanding of who you are and what you have experienced, along with supporting you to find personal growth.

I have experience in working with all aspects of mental health, in particular bereavement and perinatal mental health.

HOW CAN Person-Centred
THERAPY HELP YOU?

Person-Centred Therapy is a humanistic approach that emphasises the potential for growth, personal choice, and self-discovery. Rather than exploring unconscious thoughts, this approach centres on how individuals consciously view and understand themselves.

Rooted in humanistic psychology, it is based on the belief that everyone has the inherent capacity to find their own answers. The therapy focuses on supporting individuals in becoming who they aspire to be, free from external pressures or societal expectations. In this model, clients are considered the experts on their own lives, and their autonomy is a core element of the therapeutic process.

Working with a person centred therapist can assist in understanding who you are as an individual and support you on your journey to growth.
